Assemblymember Grayson Attends Signing of Important Climate Change Legislation
(San Francisco) – California State Assemblymember Tim Grayson (D-Concord) attended Governor Jerry Brown’s bill signing of Assembly Bill 398 at San Francisco’s Treasure Island. Assemblymember Grayson believes the continuation of California’s Cap and Trade program is a huge step forward for California’s ongoing fight to combat climate change.
“I am pleased to support AB 398 to continue our Cap and Trade program beyond 2020 and ensure that we reach our 2030 climate goals in the most cost effective way possible,” said Assemblymember Grayson. “This bill clearly shows California’s leadership on global climate policies and our strong commitment to the concepts of economic fairness and environmental justice.”
