The arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine brings our state and our district a lot of hope - but it’s also bringing a lot of important questions to the front of Californians’ minds.
That’s why this Friday, I’m co-hosting a Town Hall with Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia. During this event, we will hear from the County’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ori Tzvieli, about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, and more about the phases of vaccine distribution.
The event will also include a live Q&A where attendees can ask Dr. Tzivieli their questions. Questions can be submitted during the event in the comments section of each streaming platform, or in advance by emailing Assemblymember.Wicks@assembly.ca.gov.
